Monday, January 22, 2007 A question for you….our OL Monitor seems to have problems every day at ~4am. I look at the Misys processes occurring at this time and I see the daily File System Cleanup occurs at 04:01 a.m. Although this does not take the Misys system down, it does slow it up somewhat. I’m wondering if this is triggering what our end users are reporting. Basically, they just re-start Ol Monitor and all is well.<\/p>\n
Yes if the system slows down the Ol Monitor can get out of sync. The program waits a certain amount of time for Misys prompts and when they take too long it times out. The way the script is programmed it’s supposed to re-sync itself but for some reason it hangs up completely sometimes. In your case I guess it hangs every time.
